Dessy B's Steakhouse

Dessy B's Steakhouse (Former Sizzler)
4901 South Eastern Ave
Las Vegas Nv 89119

Story behind Dessy B's Streakhouse:
Arthur Church was the District Manager for Sizzler and worked for the company for 27 years. He got a call that they were closing all four Las Vegas valley restaurants. After a month, Arthur hired 28 of his former Sizzler employees. They worked day and night to renovate the whole building, adding new booths and changing up the décor. Dessy B’s opened up in November 2008 and now the Restuarant is history.

When I went to the restaurant I thought What’s a steakhouse without steak? The ribeye steak is served with your choice of potato (French fries). The steak had a good char flavor, but not seasoned enough. It needs more salt and pepper before it is thrown on the grill. A little garlic butter would go great on this too. Otherwise, the steak was cooked to a perfect rare. The French fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ask for a side of Ranch dressing for dipping. It's definitely made in-house and you can taste the freshness. Thumbs up but need more seasoning!
The full rack pork ribs served with your choice of potato (French fries). The ribs were tender and had a good crust on them, but bbq sauce fell short on flavor. It tastes like a tame A1 sauce. The sauce needed a bolder flavor to stand up to the fat in the pork. Their barbeque sauce was a good dip for the fries though.
They have utilized the old Sizzler salad bar. And I also noticed that they keep the salad bar absolutely spotless. Every time a server or stocker walked by, they were wiping down the tray slides. Impressive! They have a great looking salad bar - $8.99 for dinner, $6.99 for lunch

Overall Dessy b's has closed 2/1/2016 and got demodel in June 2016 to make way for a new Chase Bank Branch with Drive thru service.
